Apple Lineups 2021 August - iPad

I will be explaining about each product in the current 2021 Lineups in Apple. This third one will be the iPads. I will be giving a winner in each section. This is a slightly longer post, so I have put subtitles so you can jump to what you want to read about.

Budget. (One Winner):

iPad 10.2". £329: The standard iPad is excellent value for money. It has a 10.2" display and an A12 Bionic chip. It is also compatible with an Apple Pencil (1st Generation) and the Smart Keyboard. It should also get around 9 - 10 hours of battery on normal usage, which is very impressive.

iPad Mini. £399: The iPad mini is an excellent tablet for people who want simple portability. It has a 7.9" display and an A12 Bionic. It is compatible with an Apple Pencil (1st Generation) but not the Smart Keyboard. It is also more expensive than the iPad 10.9", and unless you do a lot of travelling with your iPad you are better off spending the less money and get the iPad 10.2 inch. However, the iPad mini is still a great tablet.

Winner: iPad 10.2"

Top-Notch. (Two Winners):

iPad Air. £579: The iPad Air, in my option, is very reasonably priced. It also has the A14 Bionic from the iPhone 12 models. It works with the latest Apple pencil and the full Magic keyboard and Smart Keyboard folio. It comes in many colours too and has a 10.9" display. A very good tablet for its price.

iPad Pro 11". £749: The iPad Pro 11" is, again, a very good tablet. It has the M1 chip in it and a Liquid Retina display. However, I think it is better off stepping up to the next model or stepping down to the iPad Air. This is because the iPad Air is very powerful, has a good display, and has similar features to the iPad Pro. The only main difference is that it doesn't have Face-ID. Therefore, if you are going to pay this much, you might as well step up or step down.

iPad Pro 12.9". £999: This iPad Pro is the best one. It has an XDR display and is the iPad Pro you should get. It might be £250 more; however, it is money well spent. This is a fantastic tablet, in my option. If you need an iPad Pro, you should get this. However, if you are okay with the 11", then you probably don't need an iPad Pro so you should get the Air. That is what I think.

Winner: iPad Air

Winner: iPad Pro 12.9"

To summarise, Apple's iPad Lineup are very good tablets and are very reasonably priced. They all have their own purpose in the market of tablets. I can recommend all of these apart from the iPad Pro 11". However, if you are a fan of that tablet, then get it. Nothing is stopping you from doing so.
